Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. The following policy applies to all reservations booked directly with Serendib Stays Canada and forms part of our Terms & Conditions. All times are based on the property’s local time (Mountain Time), and the cancellation window is measured from your scheduled check-in date.
Refund schedule

“Accommodation charges” means the nightly rate total after any discount. The cleaning fee and the Alberta Tourism Levy are always refunded in full whenever a stay does not take place.
No-shows & early departures
If you do not arrive (a no-show) or choose to depart earlier than your booked check-out date, the reservation is treated as used in full and no refund is provided for unused nights.
Changes to a reservation
Requests to change dates are accommodated where availability and pricing allow and are treated as a cancellation and re-booking for the purposes of this policy. Please contact us as early as possible so we can help.
Cancellations by Serendib Stays
In the rare event that we must cancel a confirmed reservation (for example, due to an unforeseen maintenance issue), you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Where possible, we will offer to rebook you into a comparable property.
How to cancel
To request a cancellation or change, email us at [email protected] with your booking name and dates. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take a few business days to appear, depending on your card provider.
